My organization (Open Cages) has gathered experience in working in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia) and I would like share what we have learned and how understanding of politics in this region is necessary for true cooperation with Western countries. I would also like to show some examples of good practices and suggest what can be done, if – as a movement – we are serious about animal protection being an international/global issue.
